Whether you are season veteran in search of a record book trophy or a first time hunter looking to fill that spot over your mantle, Double B is your destination. From the moment you approach the gate until the moment it closes behind you, a truly first-class experience will exceed your every expectation. Whitetail and turkey freely roam this panoramic wildlife haven. As you approach one of the many bluffs or cliffs along the Johnson draw, herds of wildlife can be spotted having a drink from one of the many water stations throughout the ranch. While chasing turkey's, you may be tempted to stop and glass two whitetail bucks crashing antlers, or watch the javelina scurry through the draw.
The nightlife at Double B proves to be as much fun as hunting. While the steaks are being rolled over the mesquite grill, you might be watching the wildlife feed at one of the feed stations near camp. The friendships formed and good times had at Double B will last a lifetime.

This time of year is always exciting for DBO Camp Staff. We are in high gear getting ready for the 2011 deer season.
Just this week Mother Nature Blessed us with several inches of rain on the entire ranch.
The DBO guides have been watching deer for several months now and we have finally spotted a few of the deer that we have been looking for this year. The drought has been hard on all of the wildlife this year. The deer herd is in pretty good shape with several of the bucks sporting good antlers again this year.
We are still in the process of our brush sculpture program along Johnson draw. We look to be complete in a few weeks. This will allow for more indiginous grasses to grow along the draw as well as make for several new stand locations along the draw. We plan on putting some this pushed country in food plots once we get the moisture necessary for the seed to germinate.
The DBO Camp Staff looks forward to seeing all of you again this fall.
